West End Producer, or WEP, is the anonymous man of theatreland. First becoming known for writing about theatre, he then ran two social media contests to find and support the talent of the future - Search For a Twitter Star and Search For a Composer Star. Both culminating in a live final in London's West End.
He is also the author of two hugely popular books - 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Acting, But Were Afraid to Ask, Dear' and 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Going To The Theatre' - both published by Nick Hern Books. WEP was also a weekly contributor to The Stage for over six years - with his hugely popular advice column.
His acerbic wit and naughty comments have earned him national press attention - and rumour has been rife that he could in fact be Andrew Lloyd Webber or Cameron Mackintosh.
He can always be found attending theatrical opening nights, supporting new work, and getting savagely sloshed on as much Dom Perignon as humanly possible.

West End Producer created the first ever online talent search - SEARCH FOR A TWITTER STAR. With over 600 entries, and a panel of industry judges it culminated in a live final at the Lyric Theatre in London's west end.
Following on from this he ran another online contest to find the musical theatre composers of the future - SEARCH FOR A TWITTER COMPOSER - which had live heats and a final at the soho theatre.
