In 2019 WEP took his own one-man show to the Edinburgh Festival in FREE WILLY - which garnered some wonderful 4 and 5 star reviews (and also some bloody awful ones)! We all know the film of the young boy who tries to save a killer whale, but this time WEP created a unqiue show to audition special guests to be his leading whale actor.

WEP flipped theatre on its head with theatrical secrets, stories, musings and songs - teaching the perfect jazz hand technique, how to bow properly, and even gave one lucky person some genuine worn West End show pants.

In this unique comedy show the audience were on the panel, as auditionees joined in singing such iconic whale-based hits including – My Willy Needs to be Wet, Why is there a Whale in the Hot Tub? and One Sea Mammal More.

Speaking about his Edinburgh debut WEP said: “Dears, I am beyond thrilled to be spending the summer in Edinburgh as I search for my perfect Free Willy. You wonderfully gorgeous people will help me find my lead performer, as we decide if my special guest has what it takes to be a singing sea mammal. I’ll even give you some tips on how to succeed in entertainment, but be warned, I expect some of the auditionees to be dreadful. Come and join me on the audition panel and help me find my willy, dears.”

‘Prepare to be shocked, mocked and rocked…laugh out loud funny’ – Michael Ball

‘Let WEP put you through your paces. You won’t find anything else like it on the Fringe’ -  Paul O’Grady

5* - ‘Masked, mysterious, and above all, enigmatic …Bring on the movie, dear’ - Jonathan Baz
